The High Voltage Operating course is a nationally recognised training program designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely perform electrical switching operations in a high voltage system according to approved procedures.
Training is delivered by experienced industry professionals through a structured combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on practical training using fully operational high voltage switchgear. This ensures participants can confidently apply learning outcomes in real workplace environments.
The course is applicable to high voltage operations across a range of industries, including mining, oil and gas, utilities and manufacturing.
Participants who successfully complete the course will be able to demonstrate competency in:

Granting of competency UEPOPS022 Coordinate and direct switching program shall only be made after competency in UEPOPS124 Perform switching to a switching program has been confirmed.
On successful completion of this course, a Statement of Attainment will be issued to each student.
