The High Voltage Refresher Course is a nationally recognised training program designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to safely work on, near or in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus.
Training is delivered by experienced professionals through a structured combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on practical training ensuring participants can confidently apply learning outcomes in real workplace environments.

Assessment is conducted in accordance with national training package requirements to ensure compliance and industry relevance.
Participants must be currently working within the electrical supply industry (ESI) and meet one of the following criteria:
It is strongly recommended that prospective students have completed the High Voltage Operating Course (or an equivalent program) within the past 5 years. The Refresher Course is designed to reinforce the skills and knowledge acquired in the Operating Course.
Training is delivered face-to-face at our simulated switch-room training facility.

The course is held in our fully operational training facility. This allows for theory presentation and a practical environment fit for simulated substation operations.
There are no formal pre-requisites for this course, however, a working knowledge of electrical power systems and completing our High Voltage Operating course would be an advantage.
On successful completion of this course, a Statement of Attainment will be issued to each student.
